Kathy Konkle is pleased to announce the publishing of her new book about her mother, Lori Konkle. Lori painted over 527 watercolors holding the brush in her mouth due to advanced multiple sclerosis. A very devout and optimistic person, Lori almost never complained about her life in a wheelchair. Lori’s lovely landscapes, impressionistic flowers and lively animals remind us of the folk art of Grandma Moses. Lori worked in watercolor and in gouache which is opaque watercolor.
